A great day for the Gosford Club.

Keep up the good work and the training for an even bigger 2012-13.

Hard work and great coaching over the years has resulted in fantastic results for the Gosford club with our teams playing in every Junior Grand Final. Starting at 8.30am at PLC, we will be competing in U12, U14 girls, U14 boys, U16 girls and U16 boys. Many juniors will then back up for our senior teams in the Ladies 2nd grade and Mens 3rd and 2nd grade.

Good luck to all teams and if we play to our ability there is no reason that we cannot win every grade.

Many are jealous of Gosford success this season, but it is proven that by spending time developing the juniors, we are now enjoying their success. Congratulations to all those who have helped with Flipperball and junior water polo over the years and I hope you can ‘Bathe in Glory’ after watching our young players do the club proud.

In the years to come our juniors will graduate to the senior level and success in those higher grades will not be too far off.

Only our Mens 1st grade and Ladies First grade have missed out on a Grand Final berth this year, despite only narrowly losing their final game. However with the dedication shown by our juniors and their keeness to play at the top level on the Central Coast, we have shown all and sundry that we are now the dominant force of water Polo on the coast and despite the desparate efforts of others to minimise our success, we are doing everything right!

With such a great start to the year weather wise and our record of picking sunny days for our presentations, this year we thought we would combine our presentation night with a fundraising night and hold it under a (water proof) roof at the Terrigal SLSC. This will be a great opportunity for the whole club to get together, celebrate our achievements for the year, raise some much needed funds and have a great night.

BYO trivia brains and a sense of humour
BYO lots of change, we’ll be raffling off items and there will be heaps of games to play through the night.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and will be available from this weekend up until the night. We’ll have them available at all games and training sessions from this weekend.
